The Champney’s West Aquarium opened for the 2024 summer season on Saturday June 22nd and closed Sunday September 1, 2024, operating 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday to Monday in July and Wednesday to Sunday in August.

All of us (our human staff team as well as all our remarkable marine animals!) were delighted to welcome our 4,500 plus visitors – children and adults from the surrounding communities and from all over the world! It was a pleasure meeting and interacting with you, and we hope you enjoyed your time with us.

We were also pleased to welcome visitors to the Ella Freeman Heritage House Museum and to chat with some of the many hikers who enjoyed the Fox Island Trail that showcases the beauty and charm of our Champney’s West community. Thank you all for your support through your generous donations and heartwarming comments.
