Come see what lives in our ocean.

The Champney's West Aquarium introduces visitors to marine animals found in Newfoundland and Labrador waters. Displays may include fish, shellfish, crustaceans, sea stars, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, anemones, and other invertebrates.


The mix of touch tanks, viewing tanks, and educational displays makes the experience hands-on without losing the science. Visitors can learn about ocean sustainability, climate impacts, food webs, and the importance of the ocean to coastal communities.
